The person behind it

I’m Chris.
Usually Hobo.

I’m self-taught. I make games, build useful tools, and work with music, 3D and print.

Hobo & Bolt, HoboGameDev, The Midnight Afterword, Markloom and Velocity Radar are different parts of my work. They have their own names because a Roblox showroom, a coding tool, a book-inspired song and a print belong in different places.

Made by Hobo is the shared home. You can see the work here, get a little context, and follow it to the place where it can be played, watched or used.

01 / Build a place

A world you can enter.

The Hobo & Bolt showroom turns the model collection into a Roblox experience you can walk through.

02 / Make it useful

Keep the result inspectable.

Aperture brings a coding plan, the actual run and the patch review into one desktop workspace.

03 / Follow the feeling

Give a story a soundtrack.

The Midnight Afterword makes original character-led songs and films inspired by books.
