Aperture

A coding task you can inspect before applying it.

A personal tool for keeping a coding task and its evidence together.

Inside the project

What it is.

Aperture is a local-first desktop harness for coding tasks. It turns a goal into a reviewed plan, keeps the run visible, and puts the resulting patch beside the checks that were run against it.

This is a free personal project, currently a Windows evaluation build. It has no paid service or public download.

My part

Workflow and interface direction, implementation, and evidence-based review of the local build.

Start with a plan

The task has a goal and a versioned plan before the work begins.

Keep the evidence

The review screen puts the patch and validation receipts in the same workspace.

Review before applying

The selected project changes only after the patch is reviewed and applied.
